In fact, I saw Cindy's daughter, Jessica, this weekend and here's how the conversation went:
Jessica: My mom's birthday was this week.
Karin:
And then, I honestly had a countdown in my head. On Saturday morning, I thought "Oh, 2 days 'till Shaq's birthday!"
And now his birthday has come and gone.
Time for a completely unrelated note: I have Shaq's autograph in my 7th grade yearbook. SHAQ SIGNED MY YEARBOOK! How weird is that?!

This is by far my favorite entry from your blog.
I would have to go along with Zach. This is one of your best yet.
I don't know why but this makes me think of your song for Cinco de Mayo. You just have a crazy way of remembering things!
are you sure somebody didn't just write shaq's name in your book?
Actually, didn't Shaq used to live in Isleworth? And that's right around the corner from Karin's childhood home, so she probably sat outside his house and stalked him for several days until he finally signed her yearbook.
And then he promptly called security and had her forcibly removed and forever banned from his neghborhood.
Smack Shaq! I still think of him as a traitor for leaving Orlando.
I too classify Shaq as a traitor, however he is a good basketball player... even if it's not really skills but body mass
Cinqo du Mayo? That must be the way to remember the birthday of someone very special!
