What is it about Solitaire that's so therapeutic? with one game, i can both zone out on the world and, at the same time, feel like a conquering genius.

Ace, 2, 3. Red king, black queen. move the jack, rotate over the king, slide the 10, Sucker!

Aww the wonders of video games. What a shame that solitaire is the only socially acceptable office game. haha its like 'Solitaire - The working persons game'. whats even funnier is that i just tried to be politically correct on your blog.

I think maybe i should make a video game that you can play for 20 minutes - have a huge sense of accomplishment - and then turn off and get back to work. ill be rich before you know it!! (well if i can figure out how to make it more addictive than tetris and solitaire).

Jon, I think the way to go is to make a massively-multiplayer version of Solitare. That will addict the Karin-types and the geek-types alike!

What are Karin-types?

Karin, you have got to try spider solitare. It is a bit tougher, but once you get into it, you will never go back to plain old solitare again. Just search for it on the internet and you will be able to download it for free.
