profile

i like to write in lower case letters like e.e. cummings. i love sitting in coffee shops when it is raining. i hate the telephone. i log my car's mileage in a little black notebook. last week i got 36 miles to the gallon. i hate clutter. i love cleaning bathrooms and folding warm towels. i like to eat cold peanut butter straight from the jar. i detest oreos, plain M&Ms, and cooked green peppers.

i love driving late at night on an empty highway while letting the scan button do the work of the radio. i'm not supposed to drive at night, but i do it anyway. i like when guys roll their sleeves up. i like funky glasses and satchel bags. i do not like football jerseys. i get scared easily in movies. and also on city buses.

i like to sleep with my toes hanging off the bed. i do not like make-up. i memorize dates easily. in 1871, otto von bismarck unified germany and i haven't forgotten. sweet tea makes me happy. so do red and clear gummi bears. i do not like orange, yellow, or green. i have strong opinions.

you don't like make-up but you remember your dates well?

oh, those dates.

also, very cool claiming that your laziness to using the shift key is actually precedented by an actual author. justification is a beautiful thing.

Love getting to know you better.

You are not supposed to let anyone know that much information about yourself until you have a ring on your finger.

Now you screwed it up!

I calculate my car's gas mileage each time I fill up and write it on the receipt. Even though I already know what the average mileage is (about 18.5 - 19 mpg), I still keep doing it for some reason. Logging it in a notebook takes it to a whole nutha' level though.

Have you ever tried peanut M&M's straight out of the fridge? Yummmm.

are you specific on M&M colors? I was at a store the other day that sold seperate M&M colors. I am pretty sure it was Linens & Things. LOL!

I'm trying to come up with something clever to match both your post and rob's comment, to no avail.
the only thing that keeps popping up in my mind is: "I like her!"
"her" being you, of course.

Wait, you didn't mention your love of gourmet cooking.

You're right Amanda! Whenever it comes to blackened salmon or another meal like that, nobody blackens it like Karin!

What does your blog name mean?

Unknown said...

dear anonymous: reveal yourself!

my blog name means nothing. and everything. much like my life, it is a paradox.

but mostly i stole it straight from the mouth of geoffrey chaucer in "A Knight's tale" when he said, "I'm a writer. I give the truth scoope!"

Anonymous said...

To the blogger: You're the one with the blog that allows anonymous comments. I don't have to reveal anything!

Thanks for the explanation. Did you mean "scope," or is "scoope" Geoffrey's old-fashioned way of talking?

i've been out-witted and out-spelled. i tip my hat to you.

and yet,
the joke is on you. i don't wear hats!

You always leave me laughing! You are so ....real! Transparent! Always live your life transparent before the Lord! And...you are a blessing. However...that night driving part bothers me. A lot!
