dressed to impress

I went to see The Lion King broadway show tonight which was an incredible experience, if, for only reason, that I wore a size 4 red dress. It may not be flattering, but it is a 4.

The show was spectacular, but the real drama came afterwards when Andrea and I had to get to our car at 11:30 at night in downtown Orlando. We parked safely by the stairs on the 3rd floor. A great idea if you are looking for the nearest exit for a fire escape. Not so handy when the garage closes for the night, the doors lock, and the gates pull down.

Nevertheless, a nice guy on a bike (the kind that you pedal) told us how to get to an elevator which dropped us off directly on the opposite side of the garage so we could run in heels to our car because we discovered we were being followed. All this, and we didn't even trip. Or break a nail.

And so I say, hakuna matata. It means "no worries!"

Followed?!

Yes, John. If you saw two pretty girls in fancy dresses (did I mention it was a size 4?), you would follow them too.

Okay, so maybe you are not that creepy. In fact, I know you're not. But this guy was. He had greasy hair, the kind that all creepy stalkers have.

Wow, a size 4!? I can only fit into a size 6 dress, or maybe 5 if I really starve myself!

You've inspired me to reach a new goal, a new resolution if you will, for 2007.
