Holiday Want Ad

In light of upcoming holiday festivities and an increasingly elderly grandfather,

Wanted: a Thanksgiving date.

Male, Southern (preferably from Georgia), Baptist, (Southern Baptist a plus), preference given to those in the law or medical profession. Military experience favored. Must converse freely over sports, politics, and rising gas prices.

As my Thanksgiving date, you will inherit the full benefits of my cooking. Also, there will be a boat.

I'm male, from the "south", studied some law at university, have military experience (playing board games involving war and real-time strategy games on the computer count, right?). I enjoy conversing freely over almost any subject, especially those mentioned. Oh, and I went to a Baptist church for a few years. Cooking and boats are always good. Does the winning applicant get travel costs covered? If not, that may be a slight show-stopper...

hey karin, i did not know that you had a boat! when do we get to go out? why not shake things up a bit...say add some body art and long tangled hair, perhaps an eastern religion. oh and yes, studied law, but from a prison cell! now i am looking forward to thankgiving, i can't wait!

The only difference btwn that picture and your Thanksgiving is that at yours there will only be enough sides to feed four people.

Wow. You drive a hard bargain. Here I am overseas – disqualified not only from dates, but from Thanksgiving, as well.

I would just like to say that I went to Karin's for Thanksgiving and I do not possess a single characteristic from her want ad.

It's verrrrry southern there too. You should have heard the gasps when I asked for lemon for my super sweet tea.

I saw the mention of this on the GSW site from the "Thanksgiving freak out" and just had to check it out...this is classic! :)

i need a date for my new job's big Xmas party...for the last wedding i went to, i went through 7 guys before i got a "YES" (albeit it was the day before the big day, busyness was not the only reason listed for not wanting the "GREAT" honor of escorting me! LOL)...hmm, i might just try this route ;) i'm once again asking last minute! :X
