does this happen to you?

When getting your oil changed, is it customary for the mechanic to join you inside the car?

See you in 3 months or 3,000 miles!

Yes...but in my case the mechanic and the person inside the car are one and the same.

Only if he really cares... I stopped going.

Is changing your oil really that fast? Every time I've been I've always waited outside the car. Interesting!

This is quite independent of you. Isn't this a 'daddy' job?

You don't get out of the car for an oil change? Odd... So do you ride up-up-up on the lift?

Yes, right before he puts his hand on my knee and asks with a lisp if he can change my oil.
