venison

I saw my first dead deer. He was riding in a wagon pulled by a black Jeep. The kind with zip up windows. His antlers were poking out and it was disturbing. Also, I think it was a christian deer because I saw him near Wycliffe and Campus Crusade.

I was driving to Disney at the time, which is also ironic. Ironic because Bambi was a deer. And Bambi died.

wait...did Bambi die, or was it his mother?

It was Bambi's mother who died. Unless there was a sequel--"Bambi's Revenge"--where Bambi takes out the hunters who got his mom, but was, at the end, surrounded, snorted some wild berrys and propped a 12-gauge between his antlers, yelling "Say hello to my bestest friend, suckas!" But I don't think there was a sequel.

Confession: I have never seen Bambi. And today, Luis said Bambi was a boy. Is that true? I do not believe him.

Coming to theaters this Christmas season...

Bambi has a new attitude. Flower succumbs to the dark side. Thumper kicks some major tail.

Bambi II: Rated R for "Revenge"

This is your first dead deer sighting? My goodness, I pass them on the side of the road all the time. In the past month alone, I've seen 4 ... no make that 5 dead deers on the side of the road. It's kinda sad actually. And yes, Bambi was a male deer.

If Bambi is (was?) a boy, why are blond girls named Bambi? Or am I only thinking of Barbi.

Bambi has always sounded feminine to me. I do not believe I am alone in this.
