Not interesting, but a blog nonetheless

You will be pleased to know that my internet connection is up and running. Who knew that a bobby pin was all it would take to reset a router? And Jen, thank you for joining Facebook. Your world will never be the same.

I started my first church Bible study last night. We're doing Beth Moore's Believing God and i'll be the first to admit that I was skeptical in going. I've never been one for women's church events, but frankly I like the leader, so I gave it a shot. We'll see how it goes. I've graduated seminary but I've never completed a bible study. But if I start waxing theological on here, you'll know why.

I am still on a hunt for the perfect pair of plaid bermuda shorts. If these are hideous, someone please tell me. Otherwise, they will slide nicely into the closet next to last summer's mistake of green pants from the Gap. Andrea tried to tell me then, but I did not listen.

If you're hard up for blog material, you could always post pics of your wardrobe mistakes. But please, do not post pics of wardrobe malfunctions.

Have you checked AE for your plaid shorts? Allison got some cute ones from there! :-)

David, I know the perfect picture. Andrea has it somewhere and if she's reading this, I'm sure she'll know exactly what I'm talking about. Actually, I bet she's thinking right now, "Which ONE....i can think of several." At any rate, I am not ashamed to post my mistakes. I once wore a Tweety Bird swimsuit (I was 17) and I am still proud of it.

A favorite aunt told me once that it took someone with a pretty strong sense of self to be able to pull off wearing loud, plaid, burmuda shorts. Of course she was speaking of Uncle Paul, but the same could be said of anyone who wants to try to pull off that look. Just watch out for the bleeding in the wash!

I did the Beth Moore, Believing God last year. It was excellent! I, too am not a good finisher, and I must say there were a few weeks that I did not complete in this one. yet it was still very powerful.
Curious who the leader is that you like so much?
