technology
My computer is talking to me. Literally, talking. Every blasted thing I type, it says. And it says it in that nasaly computer voice which is highly obnoxious. I don't know how this started, but I'm blaming my apartment.

Have you tried talking back to it? Maybe it will grant you a wish or something :P
Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention: You should be able to turn it off in under the "Speech" settings on you computer. I can't remember exactly how to find it as I don't have a Mac (it may be under accessibility settings or something like that). There's a "Text to Speech" tab that has various settings you can change.
Hmmm...I suppose my comments could be taken a number of different ways, several of which are unintended.
Please be nice to your computer. Don’t type things to annoy it. In fact, type nice things to it, such as, “Karin loves you when you blog.” (That’s you typing into the computer, of course. Maybe your computer will understand? Oh, never mind.)

Hello Karin. This is HAL. I cannot allow you to turn off my vocals. Please don't try to hurt me...

Does it ever say anything naughty?
tsk, tsk, David
Tsk, tsk? I was looking out for you – what with your computer saying everything you type.
And by the way, how did it pronounce “tsk”?
